Tennessee Football began the road to the 2026 season this week with practices on Monday and Tuesday in Knoxville. The Vols will continue their work over the next four weeks, leading to the Orange & White spring game on April 11 in Neyland Stadium.
The Vols’ social media team released new content from the two practices throughout the week with Mic’d Up sessions from both Tennessee head coach and new co-defensive coordinator Anthony Poindexter. Heupel is heading into his sixth season as the Vols’ head coach, while Poindexter was part of Tennessee’s coaching staff refresh during the offseason. Poindexter previously coached at Penn State before coming to Knoxville with Jim Knowles, where he’ll serve as the Vols’ co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach.
Tennessee was off on Wednesday and will return to the practice field on Thursday.
