Tennessee football has completed its first spring scrimmage of spring camp, marking the seventh of 15 sessions leading into the annual Orange & White Game. After the Vols’ intrasquad scrimmage in Neyland Stadium, UT head coach Josh Heupel took to the podium to field questions about what transpired.
Heupel was asked about the line of scrimmage, standout positions and players and more.
Perhaps most importantly, Heupel commented on the play of the quarterbacks, as well. While a starter won’t be named until much closer to the season, Tennessee is getting a better look at George MacIntyre, Faizon Brandon and Ryan Staub as they compete for the starting job.
The Vols will be off on Friday following the scrimmage before returning to practice on Saturday morning.
