Tennessee Basketball legend Ron Slay found one of the most creative ways to cut his post-Sweet 16 reaction promo on Friday night. The SEC Network college basketball analyst used his doorbell camera to deliver his postgame message to the Vols’ fanbase about what he thought of Tennessee’s win.

Slay has been one of Tennessee’s most energetic voices throughout the season and has the Vols’ fanbase fired up for Sunday’s Elite Eight matchup.

Tennessee Basketball advanced to the Elite Eight with a 76-62 win over 2-seed Iowa State on Friday night in Chicago. The Vols put together a strong performance in which they absolutely dominated the boards. While star forward Joshua Jefferson didn’t play for the Cyclones, it doesn’t take away how meaningful Tennessee’s showing on the glass was. The Vols out-rebounded Iowa State by 21 boards, winning the battle 43-22.

Tennessee center Felix Okpara and Jaylen Carey both had double-doubles on the night. Okpara finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Carey tallied 11 points and 10 rebounds. Both efforts were crucial for Tennessee in finding and maintaining the lead for 28 minutes of the game.

The 6-seed Vols will now take on the 1-seed Michigan Wolverines in the Elite Eight on Sunday afternoon in Chicago’s United Center. The winner will punch their ticket to the Final Four next weekend in Indianapolis. The Wolverines are as dangerous team as there is in college basketball and rightfully deserved their 1-seed status. KenPom ranks Michigan as the top team in the country with the top-ranked defense and the fifth-best offense. It’ll be a big challenge for the Vols, but that’s the name in the game this late in the tournament.
