Lady Vols basketball has dipped into the transfer portal to land another speedy guard. This time, it’s Seton Hall transfer Jada Eads who has committed to Tennessee, she announced on her Instagram. This comes after she visited Knoxville on Saturday.

The 5-foot-7 guard just completed her sophomore season and will have two years of eligibility remaining at her next stop. This past season, Eads appeared in 16 games and started in each. However, an ACL injury shut her down for the remainder of the season.

Prior to her injury, Eads was averaging 10.6 points per game on 35.8% shooting from the field and 29.4% on threes. She also contributed 5.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.0 steals per game in 26.6 minutes per outing.

As a freshman, Eads averaged 13.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game. This came in 29 games and 24 starts in 31.3 minutes per appearance. She was named to the All-Big East First-Team and All-Freshman Team for the season.
