The transfer portal madness still isn’t over with targets remaining on the board, but analytics-based rankings on BartTorvik.com have been released for the 2026-27 college hoops season. This includes a projection for Tennessee basketball based on its current roster and transfer haul, though more additions are expected.

Torvik’s model has the currently formed Vols as the No. 22 team in the country. This features the No. 26 offense and No. 19 defense in the nation. However, if Tennessee can seal the deal with Wake Forest transfer Juke Harris, it’d likely shoot up the list.

Harris is coming off a sophomore season in which he averaged 21.4 points on 44.4% shooting from the field and 33.3% shooting from three-point range. He made 87 three-pointers during the year, as well. He’s received multiple predictions to land at UT, as well.

It is ahead of No. 23 Vanderbilt, No. 29 Georgia, No. 39 Missouri, No. 40 Auburn, No. 41 Oklahoma, No. 42 Texas A&M, No. 44 Kentucky, No. 69 Mississippi State, No. 76 Ole Miss, No. 87 South Carolina and No. 143 LSU.

Tennessee is now looking to earn a fourth-straight trip to the Elite Eight under Rick Barnes, but also finally push through to the program’s first Final Four. In this effort, UT has landed an impressive group of transfers. This features Belmont guard Tyler Lundblade, Cal guard Dai Dai Ames, Loyola (Chicago) forward Miles Rubin, Notre Dame forward Jalen Haralson, VCU guard Terrence Hill Jr. and Kennesaw State forward Braden Lue.

The Vols also bring in a quartet of freshmen. This features four-star prospects Chris Washington Jr., Ralph Scott and Manny Green and three-star Marquis Clark.
