On Monday morning, Tennessee basketball reeled in the biggest fish in the transfer portal. Juke Harris, the No. 1 transfer in the country on On3 and a former Wake Forest standout, committed and signed with the Vols.
This adds another high-level scorer to Rick Barnes’ roster for the 2026-27 season. As a result, Evan Miyakawa, the owner of analytics site EvanMiya.com, gave some insight into just how talented Tennessee’s offense may be next season. Looking at the projected lineup of Dai Dai Ames, Jalen Haralson, Juke Harris, Miles Rubin and Terrence Hill Jr., the group ranks as an A in offense and B+ in defense.
As far as the ‘individual scoring’ grade, it doesn’t get any better, either. It would be the best in the country in this category. He dubbed this probably the most talented pure scoring lineup in the nation, as well.
Tennessee’s starting lineup next season will probably be the most talented pure scoring lineup in the entire country.

More From RTI: Who Tennessee Basketball Beat Out To Land Seven Transfer Portal Commits
Harris is the bell cow of the group. He is coming off a sophomore season in which he averaged 21.4 points on 44.4% shooting from the field and 33.3% shooting from three-point range. The 6-foot-7 guard made 87 threes during the 2025-26 season.
“We are thrilled Juke made the decision to join our program at Tennessee,” Barnes said in a statement. “Juke is not only an explosive talent, but also a humble young man from a great family. One of the premier scorers nationally, he possesses the ability to put the ball in the basket in numerous ways, from all over the floor.
“Juke can take over a game and impose his will at any time. He is a versatile player who can handle the ball in transition and has the length to make an impact defensively. As someone we were familiar with from his high school recruitment, Juke was a primary target for us as soon as the portal opened and he fits well with the roster we have assembled.”
Harris is the seventh player to commit to Tennessee basketball out of the transfer portal, joining Belmont sharpshooter Tyler Lundblade, Cal combo guard Ames, Loyola (Chicago) center Rubin, VCU combo guard Hill, Notre Dame wing Haralson and Kennesaw State forward Braedan Lue.
