On Friday, Tennessee football added its ninth commitment to its 2027 recruiting class. The Vols picked up the pledge of long snapper Sam McKeown out of Jenks, Oklahoma. McKeown ranks as a five-star and the No. 2 snapper in the country via Kohl’s.
McKeown joins a class that features a pair of consensus four-stars, another four-star on Rivals and a group of three-stars. The consensus four-stars are wide receiver Kesean Bowman and offensive lineman Princeton Uwaifo. Defensive lineman Kadin Fife also holds four-star status on Rivals.
While Tennessee’s start to the cycle isn’t scorching hot by any means, it is in strong positioning for multiple top recruits and has laid a nice foundation to add to. Here’s a look at where the team ranks and every individual commit.
