
After taking over Covenant Stadium in Downtown Knoxville on Friday night, Banana Ball is coming to Neyland Stadium on Saturday.
The Savannah Bananas will take on the Texas Tailgaters at 7:00 p.m. ET. It will be streamed on YouTube, Disney+, and the ESPN App.
The event is sold out for fans in Knoxville and those traveling to the city for Saturday’s festivities. As for the baseball field in Neyland Stadium, home plate will be set up in the northwest corner of the field, with centerfield essentially taking place by the student section’s area for home football games.

TIMELINE
Parking Lots & Garages Open: 7 AM ET

PARKING
According to UTSports, much of the on-campus parking space will be sold out. “A very limited amount” of Ag Campus and Lot 14 parking passes may be available, which you can check here.
Off-campus parking includes Market Square/Krutch Park and the Civic Coliseum. Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) will offer round-trip shuttle services for the game.
ROAD CLOSURES
Starting at 5:00 a.m. ET on Saturday, these roads surrounding Neyland Stadium will be CLOSED to general traffic: Volunteer at Peyton Manning, Philip Fulmer Way (from Cumberland Avenue to Lake Loudoun Boulevard, Cumberland at Estabrook Road, Neyland Stadium SE Loading Dock vicinity, and The Hill.
‘BEFORE THE PEEL’
The Savannah Bananas pregame experience will begin at 3:00 p.m. ET.
According to UTSports: “The Pre-Game Plaza opens at 1 PM ET in Lot 9, directly in front of Gate 21 by the Student Union, featuring food options like Gohan Japanese Grill, Uncle Mike’s, and Texas Roadhouse, plus Savannah Bananas merchandise and more.”

SECURITY CHECKPOINTS
There are five extended perimeter security checkpoints around Neyland Stadium:
- Phillip Fulmer Way at G10 Entrance
- Phillip Fulmer Way at the Ampitheater
- Top of Peyton Manning Pass (near Circle Park)
- Southeast Plaza Staircase (near Student Gate)
- Tee Martin Drive at Gates 1, 3, and 26

WEATHER
UTSports’ information tab does not include anything about what will happen in the case of bad weather. But considering there are scattered rainstorms in the area this weekend, it may be good to bring a rain jacket. According to UTSports, open umbrellas are a prohibited item.
