No college baseball team had better first base play than Tennessee over the 2024 and 2025 seasons when Blake Burke and Andrew Fischer earned All-SEC honors.
Now in professional baseball, the two are hitting consecutively in the Biloxi Shuckers lineup. Each flexed their power on Sunday, hitting back-to-back home runs during the Shuckers’ 9-4 win over the Columbus Clingstones.
Burke started it out by hitting a three-run bomb to right-center field before Fischer hit a solo shot to right field, giving Biloxi a 4-1 lead.
