Seven former Tennessee Basketball players were featured on Opening Day teams for NBA Summer League action on Thursday in Las Vegas. This included Chaz Lanier on the Pistons, Jaden Springer on the Mavericks, Keon Johnson on the Magic, Felix Okpara on the Wizards, and the trio of Ja’Kobi Gillespie, Zakai Zeigler, and Igor Milicic Jr. on the Spurs.
Here’s a look at how each VFL performed during their opening game of the NBA 2K Summer League from Sin City:

- Ja’Kobi Gillespie (Starter): 23 minutes, 12 points, 5/13 FG, 2/6 3FG, 3 REB, 6 AST, 1 TO
- Igor Milicic Jr.: 6 minutes, 2 points, 1/4 FG, 0/3 3FG, 4 REB, 1 TO
