While Tennessee baseball is losing a number of signees to the MLB through the draft, it’s also learning who will officially make it to campus. After local standout infielder Michael Teasley announced he’ll be joining the Vols heading into day two of the draft, two more joined him after the conclusion of the 10th round.

Both right-handed pitchers, Gannon Grant announced his withdrawal on Instagram, and Shawn Sullivan informed Rocky Top Insider of his decision to head to college.

Grant committed to Tennessee baseball during September of his junior year as one of the top prospects in his class and remained steadfast with the Vols through their coaching change. Perfect Game ranks Grant as the No. 77 player and the No. 16 right-handed pitcher in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Grant is 6-foot-2 and from Greenwood, Indiana.

Sullivan committed to Tennessee last November following Tony Vitello’s departure to San Francisco and Josh Elander’s promotion to head coach. An Ohio native, Sullivan ranks as the No. 78 player and No. 17 right-handed pitcher in the 2026 recruiting cycle, according to Perfect Game.

While Tennessee is getting Teasley, Grant and Sullivan to campus, it is losing a number of highly-rated signees. This features outfielder/left-handed pitcher Jared Grindlinger (Angels – Pick 12), outfielder Trevor Condon (Cardinals – Pick 13), right-handed pitcher Kaiden McCarthy (Braves – Pick 48) and right-handed pitcher Ty Putnam (Rockies – Pick 136).

Through 10 rounds, a quartet of Vols has also heard their names called. In the first round, star right-handed pitcher Tegan Kuhns went No. 31 overall to the St. Louis Cardinals. Then, infielder Henry Ford went with pick No. 191 in the sixth round to the Seattle Mariners. Next was right-handed pitcher Bo Rhudy to the Philadelphia Phillies in the seventh round, and then utility man Garrett Wright to the Los Angeles Angels in the eighth.
