According to 247 Composite, Gabriel Georges is considered the No. 10 player in the class, No. 2 running back and the top player from the state of Tennessee. Though initially from Quebec, he currently lives in Chattanooga, where he plays for Baylor School. His primary recruiter at UT is running backs coach De’Rail Sims.
Even after his commitment, this race likely won’t be over, though. As most big-time recruiting battles go, it’s safe to expect the loser of the Gabriel Georges sweepstakes to stay in contact all the way until signing day in attempts to flip him.
Currently, Tennessee holds 17 commitments in the 2027 cycle on 247. This ranks as the No. 38 group in the nation and No. 14 in the SEC. Along with Gabriel Georges, the Vols have been trending to land in-state three-star back Asa Barnes next week, as well, to create a dynamic duo in the backfield.
