Status
Walker visited Knoxville four times in the spring/early summer of 2014. There’s clearly legitimate interest on both sides and Walker returned for an official visit the weekend of Dec. 6. Tennessee, Georgia and Auburn are the teams out in front as his recruitment hits the stretch run.

 Outlook

Walker looks and plays more like an outside linebacker at this point in his high school career. He has, however, expressed a desire to stay at defensive end at the next level and he’ll likely have to make his living as a situational speed rusher if he doesn’t add significant bulk.

He’s a high-motor player and would give UT a different dynamic off the edge than current commitments Dylan Jackson and Andrew Butcher, who are more balanced ends.
