Justin Martin
Cornerback
6-2, 190 pounds
Northeastern Oklahoma A&M
Top offers: Tennessee, Florida, Ole Miss, South Florida
Status
Martin committed to Tennessee‘s 2015 class on December 31st and after some questions as to if he would take a serious look at some other schools close to NSD, he officially signed with the Vols on Feb. 4. The Nashville native was passed over out of high school due, in large part, to grade concerns. After landing at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, his transcript is looking better and so is his game.

Outlook
Martin is another long, athletic cover corner who would give Tennessee needed speed in the secondary. He will need to improve in run support at the next level, but he has the length and overall skills to be an early-impact player for the Vols in Knoxville. With the departure of Justin Coleman, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that he could see significant playing time in his first season on Rocky Top.
