Clemons told 247Sports that Tennessee is his leader in late June, surprising some. He visited Rocky Top in July for Tennessee’s second “Orange Carpet Day” and left proclaiming UT as his leader for the second straight month. LSU is also high on his list with Clemson being a team to watch as well. With Tennessee in on several elite defensive line prospects, space could be an issue, though it’s hard to say no to quality D-linemen in any circumstance.

Clemons has a uniquely tall frame that is pushing 6-foot-7. He needs to add a substantial amount of weight to play in on the defensive line in the SEC, but with a frame like that and perhaps a year or two of strength and conditioning, he has an extremely high upside.

He could grow into a player similar to former South Carolina DE Devin Taylor (6-7, 260), who went on to be picked in the fourth round by the Detroit Lions.
