Rocky Reid picked up an offer from Tennessee on March 1st at one of UT’s junior days and left campus with the Vols as his leader. Reid committed just over a month later at the Orange and White Game. He was considered a firm commitment this summer and early into the fall, but after a few weeks of rumors and the addition of four-star Kendall Bussey at the position, Reid announced on Dec. 26 that he was decommitting from Tennessee. Georgia, a team that offered in the fall, is a team to watch for the record-setting back.

How He Fits
A sturdy, powerful back with a frame to add even more weight, Reid is a punishing downhill runner. He explodes through arm tackles and keeps his legs churning. He doesn’t have explosive speed but can be deceptive when running in a straight line. He’s most dangerous between the tackles and is a patient runner.
