Vols Appear in Several Bowl Projections After Kentucky Win

After improving to 5-5 on the season with their 17-13 win over Kentucky, the Vols are now being projected to a bowl game by most major outlets.

Thanks to a two-game winning streak and the scheduling lightening up in November, the Vols are now favored to earn a bowl berth this year.

Believe it or not, one major media outlet still projects the Vols will make a bowl game after the end of the 2019 regular season.

The Vols haven’t made it to a bowl game since 2016, but one prominent outlet is projecting Tennessee to make it back to the postseason this year.

Despite missing out on the postseason the last two years, the Vols have made an appearance in an early 2019 bowl projection.

After their upset victory over No. 11 Kentucky, the Vols have made it back into several bowl projections by different media outlets.

After a big win over Auburn, the Vols are appearing in severeal bowl projections by national media outlets for the 2018 postseason.

It’s still early in the season, but the Vols have made some bowl projections for the 2018 postseason by a couple different sites.

A preseason bowl projection has the Vols picked not only to make a bowl game this season, but to face off against a Big 12 team in Texas.

Only one major outlet is still projecting the Vols to make a bowl game this year, and they have them playing a former Tennessee coach.
