2. Tennessee vs. Notre Dame, Belk Bowl (Charlotte, N.C.)
This could be one of the best matchups of the mid-to-lower bowls. These two programs have some history – including Tennessee’s Miracle at South Bend in 1991, one of the greatest comebacks in program history when the Vols overcame a 31-7 deficit at Notre Dame. These two storied programs would draw a huge crowd and great TV ratings. Notre Dame started this season 7-1 and was a chic playoff pick earlier this year before free falling all the way to 7-4 entering this weekend with a tough trip to USC still on the schedule.
