6. TE Neiko Creamer
It’s easy to go through the motions on scout team, especially as the year winds down. But as we watched the Vols prepare for the TaxSlayer Bowl against Iowa, Creamer, a redshirt tight end who was working on the scout team, was giving the starting defense all it could handle. And after bouncing from defense to offense in 2014, he’ll have a chance to make some of those plays against UT opponents in 2015. Ethan Wolf appears to be entrenched as the starter at tight end, but Creamer could get into the conversation for playing time at that position if he takes another step this offseason.
