Bryant is a big wild card at inside linebacker. The former four-star, hard-hitting recruit out of Alabama didn’t see the field in 2014, so it’s hard to have much of a feel for how much he’ll be able to help in 2015. At the very least, his high school film proved that he’s one of the hardest-hitting recruits the Vols have signed in a while, and that mentality can be used on special teams, where the Vols will look to continue their success from the 2014 season. Can he get in the conversation for playing time at inside linebacker in the post-A.J. Johnson era? That remains to be seen, but anything he can give the Vols in 2014 would be a nice step for the redshirt freshman.
