3. Joshua Dobbs is emerging as a leader

Mike DeBord-1-7This isn’t a totally new concept for Dobbs. He’s had two stints as the starting quarterback in the past, but I can really see Dobbs taking ownership of the quarterbacks group and the offense as a whole. He’s the first one through drills and is helping others get it done as well. He’s not always an in-your-face screaming type, but leads by example and makes sure others are doing it right as well.

He’s added a little bit of weight and has improved his mechanics. He’s not perfect. Coaches have stopped him to work on things here and there in his delivery. But it’s fair to say he’s well ahead of where he was heading into the 2014 season, better even than he was at the end of 2014 and he’s looking to build off that strong finish to last year.
