4. What freshmen are standing out in workouts?
Jones and the players will likely be hesitant to heap too much praise on newcomers who haven’t played a down in the SEC yet, but it’s always interesting to hear if any of the young guys are really standing out in workouts. We started hearing great things about Derek Barnett even before the 2014 season and that clearly was a good sign for what would turn out to be a breakout season for him. Is there a Barnett in this class? Expect plenty of questions about the newcomers, especially some of the more high-profile players such as Preston Williams, Kahlil McKenzie, Drew Richmond and Sheriron Jones.
