3. Hugh Freeze tackles off-the-field issues
The recent headlines about star offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil were a big topic of conversation, and Hugh Freeze didn’t have a ton to say about the allegations other than saying that Ole Miss would cooperate fully with any enforcement agencies. Freeze was one of a few coaches to weigh in on the Confederate Flag issue as well. Freeze was pretty direct, saying he’s in support of moving in a different direction for the Mississippi state flag, which features the Confederate Flag in its design. Dan Mullen, on the other hand, was a little more vague in his answer – opting not to take a hard stance on it.
