Pick 6: SEC Against the Spread — Week 4

[tps_header][/tps_header]

Mark Stoops-1

No. 25 Missouri at Kentucky (-3), Saturday, 7:30 pm ET, SEC Network

Kevin: A very interesting game that should give us an idea of how the SEC East will shake out. Kentucky will need to overcome a very emotional loss to Florida at home a week ago, and Missouri is simply trying to figure out what the hell is going on with their football program. The Tigers barely edged out a victory over mighty UCONN, and desperately need to find an offense to go with a tremendous defense. Kentucky continues to make progress under Mark Stoops, but I think once again Kentucky loses to the team with a superior defense. I’ll go with Missouri +3.

John: I’m with the Colonel who described this game as follows:

Kentucky and Missouri could be a snooze fest. I’d rather go to the old folks home and watch the elderly age before I’d watch that one. No interest.

WHICH is exactly why I’m picking KY. It’s going to be such a snooze fest that the only way to keep it interesting is with the potential of me picking up a game on Kevin. These team combined for ZERO touchdowns last week, mustering up three measly field goals apiece. But there’s no shame in getting owned by the Gator D. UConn, however? Advantage KY. Take Kentucky -3.
