The 10 Things the Vols Must Do to Beat Bama

2. Limit Derrick Henry

Kahlil McKenzie-1

This one seems a bit obvious, doesn’t it? It’s almost like saying “don’t get injured.” That doesn’t negate the fact that it must be done either way though.

Derrick Henry has 901 rushing yards on the season with 12 touchdowns and an average of nearly 130 yards per game.

To put it bluntly, the Vols must limit Derrick Henry’s production to less than 100 yards.

With freshman star defensive tackle Shy Tuttle joining Curt Maggitt on the injured list, freshmen Kahlil McKenzie and Darrin Kirkland Jr. are going to have to step up in a big way to keep Henry from going off. Otherwise this game could get ugly fast.
