Gregg Marshall, Wichita State
Marshall is seemingly on every coaching candidate list around the nation, but he has flirted with leaving Wichita in the past. His new, large contract could be a huge obstacle, but he’s shown interest in SEC jobs in the past and is losing a couple long-tenured seniors off his 2015-16 roster. Maybe this is the year – and the opportunity – he’s looking for to get a fresh start, but he’s more in the “long shot” category.
