Chris Collins, Northwestern
Collins, who just finished his third season at Northwestern, is another possibly logical targets for the Commodores. He doesn’t have a long list of flashy accomplishments, but the former Duke assistant just put together a rare 20-win season at Northwestern, a program that has never been to the NCAA tournament. Perhaps Collins wants to stick around and see the Wildcats through to their first ever Big Dance, but you’d have to think the upside, and likely the salary, is much higher at Vanderbilt, where’s there’s more of a proven track record.
