9. OL Venzell Boulware
A powerful true freshman guard who got his helmet stripe removed before the start of the season, Boulware didn’t play in 2015 and took a redshirt season – which really is the ideal situation for all freshman linemen. Jack Jones, another freshman, helped fill in at guard with injuries to Marcus Jackson, Jashon Robertson and others, but the staff seems content to keep the redshirt on Boulware and develop him for the years to come. He’s another player who got a lot of work during spring practice due to injuries.
