3. OT Drew Richmond
The five-star recruit and finishing piece to UT’s impressive 2015 recruiting class certainly looks the part of a future starting SEC tackle, but the coaches thought he’d need a year before he would be ready to compete to see the field. Despite some injuries on the offensive line, Richmond didn’t played a snap and saw fellow freshman offensive tackle Chance Hall get the first opportunity when playing time came available following Brett Kendrick’s injury.
With Hall out, Richmond got his opportunity this spring to see a lot of starting reps. There’s no doubt Richmond will play in 2016. Will he start? Offensive tackle will be an interesting battle to watch this fall.
