1. The Vols will be crowned SEC East champions
This seems to be the most common bold prediction from many around the nation. Tennessee has the most experience of any team in the SEC East. Three consecutive elite recruiting classes have provided the talent and depth necessary for this UT squad to win the division and possibly the conference championship. On paper, the SEC East division looks to be weak. Also on paper, the Vols look to be head and shoulders above the rest. Even though the Vols face a rough four- game SEC stretch in the middle of the season, they will come out victorious and will already have won the East by late October.
