Tennessee’s biggest game of the regular season will be in the biggest spotlight.
The Vols will take on Florida at 3:30 pm ET on Sept. 24 on CBS in the SEC Game of the Week, the league confirmed early on Monday afternoon.
CBS, which has first selection of the games for its 3:30 pm ET slot, chose UT-Florida over an impressive slate of conference games this weekend that includes Georgia and Ole Miss, LSU at Auburn and Arkansas vs. Texas A&M.
Tennessee is off to a 2-0 start after a sloppy victory against Appalachian State in the opener a comeback from a terrible first quarter against Virginia Tech in the Battle at Bristol. Florida stumbled out of the gates with an ugly win over UMass before bouncing back against Kentucky with an impressive 45-7 win in Gainesville on Saturday.
The Vols take on Ohio this week, while Florida plays North Texas.
