In what might be some form of unofficial record, Tennessee’s game will be featured on ESPN’s College GameDay for the third time in six weeks when the Vols head to College Station to face the Aggies next Saturday.

GameDay was at the Week 2 Battle at Bristol for UT’s win over Virginia Tech, it came to Knoxville two weeks later for Tennessee’s win over Florida, and now heads to Texas A&M for the first-ever SEC matchup between the Vols and the Aggies, one that features two 5-0 teams that very well could both be in the AP Top 10.
The game will be shown on CBS at 3:30 pm ET, marking the third straight game that the Vols will be the SEC Game of the Week on the major network. CBS opted to use it’s six-day window last Monday to wait and see the results of this weekend’s games before making its decision. Tennessee’s victory over Georgia combined with Texas A&M’s defeat of South Carolina led to the decision to head to College Station next week.
