Secondary
Anchored by the return of Cam Sutton, as well as Micah Abernathy and Malik Foreman, the secondary played well in pass defense – allowing just 12 completions on 29 attempts by Kentucky quarterback Stephen Johnson. Cam Sutton had a bit of rust, but was solid in coverage for the most part. Like the rest of the defense, however, the secondary missed too many tackles and was shredded in the run game by the Wildcats.
