4. WR JaVonta Payton
Payton, an in-state target form Hillsboro High School (the same school as Kyle Phillips), seemed to fall below the radar in the fall, but as the need has increased at wide receiver, so has the interest in the three-star prospect. Payton visited Knoxville last weekend and seemed to come away impressed. He has a comfort level with some of the commitments in this class and some of the players on the team. Ole Miss jumped in on him late, and he’ll give the Rebels a visit. But things seem to be trending in a good direction for Payton and Tennessee. It could be a match on NSD.
