Tennessee’s 2017 recruiting class is in the books. The Vols finished with 27 players officially (28 if you count likely blueshirt Princeton Fant) in a class that was ranked between No. 11 and No. 17 in the nation, depending on your ranking service of choice.
There are certainly plenty of developmental players in this class – guys who will need some time before they’re ready to contribute at Tennessee. But while this class doesn’t have the pure star power of some recent ones, and the need for early contributions isn’t as glaring as it’s been in the past, there are still a few players that are going to have the opportunity to come in and compete for early playing time.
