4. Who is stepping up on offense?
According to data compiled by Phil Steele, the Vols are replacing nearly three-fourths of their offensive production from last season. Receiver Jauan Jennings and running back John Kelly are the only skill position players returning this season with significant experience in their careers.
So, who will step up and help out those players?
The Vols have several young receivers that need to step up behind Jennings. Kelly will also have young, inexperienced running backs behind him. And whomever the coaching staff chooses as the starting quarterback will be a first-time starter. Tennessee is simply replacing a lot of experience from 2016 on offense, and the three players at SEC Media Days are three of the more experienced players on the team. Expect them to be asked about the young guns on the roster.
