Quarterback: 1. Quinten Dormady, 2. Jarrett Guarantano
Running Back: 1. John Kelly, 2. Ty Chandler, 3. Carlin Fils-Aime
Thoughts: Expect Tennessee’s official depth chart to list Dormady and Guarantano as co-starters, but when the time comes for the Vols to take their first snap on offense, Dormady will more than likely be the one leading the charge. Both should get some playing time, but Dormady is the favorite to be the starter.
As for the running backs, John Kelly is the undeniable starter. Behind him are a bunch of inexperienced players, but freshman Ty Chandler is the most likely to get the most touches aside from Kelly. Sophomore Carlin Fils-Aime should still be the No. 3 option for now, but freshmen Tim Jordan and Trey Coleman are pushing him for playing time.
