The Vols were without John Kelly in this game, but Tennessee’s rushing attack didn’t miss a beat. Freshman Ty Chandler set career-highs in carries, yards, and scored his first two rushing touchdowns of his Tennessee career. Carlin Fils-Aime totaled 73 yards on 13 carries while Chandler had 153 total yards of offense on 24 total touches. The Vols were able to run the ball effectively with their backs, as Tennessee’s running backs averaged 5.4 yards per carry.
