Has the Offensive Line Progressed?
The biggest question mark for the Vols this spring has been the offensive line. Depth is thin there, and some of the Vols’ best players in the unit aren’t healthy enough to practice right now.
So, how does Tennessee’s most questionable unit look during an actual game?
It’s one thing to see the offensive linemen going through drills and hearing offensive line coach Will Friend barking at his players. It’s a completely different thing to see how this line holds up against pressure in an actual game-like situation. Can Tennessee’s quarterbacks have more time to throw? How does Drew Richmond look? Will Jerome Carvin make an impact as a true freshman?
The good news for the line is that they’ll get more healthy bodies back in the fall. But the Orange & White Game will give us all a first glimpse at how that unit is shaping up.
