Rush Propst
Quick Bio: Rush Propst is someone Jeremy Pruitt knows well in the high school ranks. He and Pruitt coached together at Hoover High School, and Propst is a very popular and very success high school head coach who has sent off many highly-rated recruits to colleges across the country.
Pros: Pruitt and Propst have known each other a long time, so there’s plenty of familiarity there. If Pruitt wants to bring in a guy who knows him and knows what he wants to do, Propst is certainly that guy.
Cons: Propst has never coached in college. He’s currently at Colquitt County, the school where J.J. Peterson played, and has had a lot of success in the high school ranks. But going straight from high school to a Power Five program as a play-caller seems like a stretch.
