I can’t give the Vols an A+ because of how poorly the special teams unit played and because of Jordan’s late game fumble, but otherwise, this was another solid road win for a team that looked dead to rights two months ago. Tennessee had an offensive explosion, set some school records, and did what they had to do in order to get their sixth win of the season.
When Tennessee was 1-4, they had a five percent chance of making a bowl game. Now, that far-fetched dream is a reality.

Tennessee is going bowling after it started the season 1-4, which is remarkable. The way Pruitt was able to navigate murky waters has put him in the conversation for SEC Coach of the Year. After many thought Tennessee would only win three games this year, the Vols have a great chance to go 8-5.
