Tennessee added a few speedy athletes to the offensive side of the ball in the early signing period, picking up signatures from burners like Jalin Hyatt, Jimmy Calloway, and Jimmy Holiday. But the Vols are expected to target yet another speedster for February.

Corey Wren, a former Georiga commit, is one of the fastest players in the 2020 cycle. He has a personal record of 10.41 seconds in the 100-meter, and he’s recorded seven sub-11.00 times in the 100-meter.

In short, Wren is fast. Which is good, considering he’s only about 5-foot-9.

Wren has taken an official visit to Maryland, but the Vols are pushing for him to visit in January sometime. Tennessee has David Johnson recruiting Wren because Johnson has strong ties to Louisiana. Johnson has been a big part of the Vols’ success in the 2020 cycle so far, and he’ll look to reel in another key piece. But Oklahoma and Texas are also coming on strong for Wren, and his recruitment is going to absolutely blow up in the coming month-plus.

  1. Phillip Fulmer #1 best hire for Tennessee which led to the next best hire in Jeremy Pruitt. Vols are definitely heading back to a team to be reckoned with. I love what is happening at Tennessee?
