WATCH: Highlights from Vols’ Tuesday practice of Carolina week

    Tennessee hit the practice field Tuesday afternoon as it continues to prepare for Saturday’s season-opener against South Carolina. The media is not allowed to attend practice this fall, but Tennessee Athletics Communications sent out practice highlights and pictures from practice as the Vols prepare for their matchup with the Gamecocks.

    Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt met with the media at noon on Monday to preview this week’s matchup with South Carolina. Pruitt discussed his familiarity with the Gamecocks’ coaching staff, the latest on offensive lineman Cade Mays and running back Carlin Fils-aime, and who will be available to play. You can hear everything Pruitt had to say here.

    Senior center Brandon Kennedy, sophomore linebacker Henry To’o To’o and sophomore running back Eric Gray met with the media ahead of Tuesday’s practice. You can hear everything the players had to say here.

    Kickoff with South Carolina is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network. The Vols will return home to Neyland Stadium a week later for the home-opener against Missouri at 12 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
