Tennessee Hits The Field For Practice In Omaha

The Vols are on the field, as they practiced for the first time inside TD Ameritrade Park on Friday afternoon. Tennessee is preparing for their matchup with Virginia, which will be played on Sunday, at 2pm ET.

It was announced on Friday that Tony Vitello was named the Coach Of The Year, by the collegiate baseball writers association. A well deserved honor for the Tennessee head coach.

The Vols will go through a light practice on Saturday and then its full game day mode, as they get ready for the first round of the College World Series.
