The Tennessee Athletics department has revealed its Homecoming and Salute to Service matchups for the 2021 football season.

Homecoming will take place on Saturday, Nov. 13 as Tennessee will host Georgia in an SEC East showdown.

Salute to Service Day will take place one week later as Tennessee will welcome in the South Alabama Jaguars on Saturday, Nov. 20.

Tennessee’s final home game of the year against Vanderbilt will also serve as Senior Day. That game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 27.

The Volunteers will host eight opponents throughout the year 2021.

In September, Tennessee will welcome in Bowling Green on Thursday, Sept. 2 in the season-opener. Then, they will host Pittsburgh on Sept. 11 and Tennessee Tech on Sept. 18.

The Vols will then host South Carolina on Oct. 9 and Ole Miss on Oct. 16.

In November, Tennessee will round out its season schedule with three home games. The Vols will take on Georgia on Nov. 13, South Alabama on No. 20, and Vanderbilt on Nov. 27.

The University of Tennessee did suspend a majority of the Homecoming festivities in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the University will look to get back on track this year as it will also welcome back fans to the stadium.

September 10, 2021, will mark the 227 year anniversary of the University of Tennessee.
