Tennessee Makes Top 12 For Four-Star Offensive Tackle

Could Kyler Murray Potentially Go To The Broncos?

Four-star offensive lineman Roderick Kearney cut his list of college suitors to 12 Monday, including Tennessee in his top group.

Michigan, Florida State, Florida, Michigan State, UCF, Cincinnati, Georgia, Miami, Arkansas, Penn State and Rutgers join the Vols in Kearney’s top group.

Tennessee is the most recent team to offer Kearney that made the offensive  lineman’s top 12, formally offering Kearney earlier this month. While Tennessee is the most recent team to offer Kearney, the Orange Park, Florida native’s recruitment has blown up since November.

Georgia, Michigan State, Michigan, Cincinnati, UCF and Rutgers have all offered the highly touted lineman in the last four months.

Kearney ranks as the nation’s 264th best player and the 15th best interior offensive lineman according to the 247sports composite rankings.

Kearney took a pair of visits this fall seeing both Central Florida and Florida State. The 6-foot-4, 320 pound interior lineman has visited both schools twice since NCAA reopened visits in June.

Tennessee currently boasts the nation’s 19th-best recruiting class in the 2023 cycle. The Vols hold three commits and one offensive lineman commit in Mt. Juliet High School standout Ayden Bussell.

With the NCAA’s dead period set to end this week, Tennessee’s recruiting efforts in the 2023 class will ratchet up. The Vols are expected to host a large group of junior day visitors this weekend including five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava.
