Tennessee Football Announces Homecoming, Salute to Service Games

    With the football season drawing closer by the day, Tennessee has officially announced new information on the Vols’ Homecoming and Salute to Service games.

    According to Tennessee Athletics, Homecoming will take place on Saturday, Oct. 22 when the Volunteers host UT Martin.

    Tennessee’s Salute to Service game, honoring “the nation’s service members, veterans, and their families,” will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12 as Tennessee hosts Missouri for an SEC East showdown. Tennessee will also use this game as Senior Day as it is the 2022 home finale.

    The Tennessee football season-opener will serve as a special Thursday primetime broadcast.

    Week 1: Ball State @ Tennessee – Sept. 1 – 7 p.m. ET
