The week eight matchup is Tennessee’s first noon kick off at Neyland Stadium this season. In Tennessee’s four previous home games, two kicked off at night and two — counting Saturday’s matchup with Alabama — kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET.
Tennessee played at noon ET, and 11 a.m. local time, against LSU this past weekend. The Vols, who practice in mornings, came out sharp against LSU. Tennessee scored less than 90 seconds into the game on its way to jumping out to a 20-0 first half lead.

UT-Martin is off to a strong start to its season, entering this week’s open date with a 4-2 record. The Skyhawks losses came against Boise State (30-7) and FCS power Missouri State (35-30).
The Skyhawks are 3-0 in Ohio Valley Conference games with wins over Tennessee Tech and Missouri State.
Tennessee’s matchup with the instate FCS foe comes between critical matchups against Alabama and Kentucky.
Other top SEC games in week eight include Ole Miss at LSU (3:30 on CBS), Mississippi State at Alabama (7 on ESPN) and Texas A&M at South Carolina (7:30 on SEC Network).
