Tennessee’s week 12 matchup at South Carolina kicks off at either 7 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. ET with ESPN or SEC Network broadcasting the game, the conference announced Monday.

Ole Miss-Arkansas is the other flex game that will be in whatever time slot Tennessee-South Carolina isn’t in. The ESPN game — which will get the “better matchup” — kicks off at 7 p.m. ET while the SEC Network game kicks of at 7:30.

Ole Miss hosts Alabama this week while Arkansas hosts LSU. Tennessee hosts Missouri while South Carolina travels to Florida.

Tennessee is looking for its fourth straight win over the Gamecocks dating back to the Vols blowout win over the Gamecocks in 2019.

Two weeks ahead of the matchup, Tennessee is 8-1 (4-1 SEC) and coming off its lone loss of the season to reigning National Champion Georgia. South Carolina is 6-3 (3-3 SEC) coming off an 11-point victory over Vanderbilt.

The Gamecocks are facing a challenging final stretch of the season with matchups against Florida, Tennessee and Clemson.

Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer each arrived in the SEC at the same time and have battled on the field and recruiting trail for higher ground in the SEC east.

Both teams went 7-5 a season ago and Heupel and Beamer shared the Steve Spurrier First-Year Coach Award. Heupel and the Vols are 1-0 against Beamer and the Gamecocks on the field as Tennessee opened up a 28-0 lead before coasting to a, 45-20, win inside Neyland Stadium a season ago.

The 7 p.m. kick off marks the fifth straight time Tennessee has faced South Carolina at night in Williams Brice Stadium. The Vols are 2-2 in the first four games.

Other top SEC games on the week include Georgia at Kentucky at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS and Florida at Vanderbilt at noon ET on SEC Network.
