Tennessee Football: The SEC’s Hottest Transfer Portal Names

The transfer portal is already filled with hundreds upon hundreds of talented players from around the SEC.

The portal officially opened up on Monday, Dec. 5, allowing players from all over the country to enter and explore their options.

Here are some of the top players from the SEC according to 247Sports‘ 2023 transfer portal tracker:

TE Jaheim Bell – South Carolina

  • 2022: 25 receptions, 231 yards, 2 touchdowns. 73 rushing attempts, 261 yards, 3 touchdowns.
  • Junior: 6-foot-3, 232-pounds
  • Lake City, Florida native
  • Four-star transfer portal prospect
    • Tennessee did offer during original recruitment in 2020

DL Bill Norton – Georgia

  • 2022: 3 total tackles (all solo)
  • Junior: 6-foot-6, 300-pounds
  • Memphis, Tennessee native
  • Four-star transfer portal prospect
    • Tennessee was a strong contender during 2019 recruitment

IOL Javion Cohen – Alabama

  • 2022: 10 starts with appearances in the other two games for a total of 554 snaps
  • Junior: 6-foot-4, 305-pounds
  • Phenix City, Alabama native
  • Four-star transfer portal prospect
    • Tennessee did offer during original recruitment in 2020

DL Tunmise Adeleye – Texas A&M

  • 2022: 6 total tackles, 4 solo. Started the first two games of the season
  • Redshirt-freshman: 6-foot-4, 290-pounds
  • Katy, Texas native

RB LJ Johnson – Texas A&M

    • Transferred to Vanderbilt from Temple in fall 2020

CB Khyree Jackson – Alabama

  • 2022: 7 tackles, 6 solo tackles, played in nine games with one start. Played special teams against Tennessee.

QB Haynes King – Texas A&M

  • 2022: 104-of-187 passing, 1,220 yards, 7 touchdowns, 6 interceptions
  • Redshirt-sophomore: 6-foot-3, 205-pounds
  • Longview, Texas
  • Three-star transfer portal prospect
